I like this opinion.  Obama hiring guys who helped wreck our economy and as a result GW got the blame.

So, President Obama’s two go-to economists each had a hand in a “$300 million lobbying effort that drove deregulation … facilitating mergers.” These were mergers that created too-big-to-fail institutions that have left taxpayers on the hook for trillions and have paid millions to President Obama’s go-to economists.

Sorry, I had to remove the comment feature, apparently spam loves blogs.  I will work on this.

My comment is this: Liberal media is trying to portray the right wing as radicals by placing the blame on free speech, a soon to be exploited word “rhetoric”, and gun rights.  All 3 seem to be a problem according to the left.  Nothing like not blaming  the person who committed this crime and blaming an entire group of people for the acts of 1 kid.  Scum using propaganda to blame an innocent woman.  Pathetic hypocrites.

OK, now he is fired….now what?

The problem with these good natured bunch of professors is that:

1) Have no common sense.  Why would anyone donate money to a government that can’t properly manage the funds they have now.

2) Hypocrites.  I am betting that not one of these professors have donated more than $10,000.  These Ivy League professors make well into the 6 figure range.  I wonder if they realize most are in the top 10% of earners.

3) Idiots.  The government wastes more money in red tape than any business.  If this was an actualy business, it would have been bankrupt long ago.  Dollars submitted would have to be accounted for which calls for more people to make up new rules regarding contributions, accounting of additional funds, committees on how to spend the money and how not to pay back the money we owe China.

4) Clueless.  It is not the governments duty to employ but to encourage job creation in the free market.

Those who can’t: teach.

Wasn’t Obama a professor?

Welcome Governor Snyder!

January 4th, 2011

I just want to welcome our newest Governor to Lansing.  The citizens of Michigan spoke loudly that now is the time for Michigan to change into a more prosperous State and I look forward to our new leadership.

Proposal 1 –

October 27th, 2010

In review of the literature in regards to Proposal 1, I vote “No”.  The problem with this is the same as Obama’s campaign – “Change”.  Although change can be a good thing, not being specific on the type of change is the issue.  Americans fell for this jargon in 2008 with just the word “Change”.  The campaign wasn’t very specific and we are now seeing the results.  The Michigan Constitution needs to be changed, but we can do that by amending the Constitution as we see fit.  What we don’t need is a bunch of over paid newly elected politicians having a convention, spending millions of dollars, and wasting time arguing about how we are going to improve the Constitution while trying to figure out a way a party’s agenda.  If the goal is a balanced budget, vote for it and do it.  Simple.  Homosexual civil unions is what is wanted?  Change the wording already set in place.  We have enough to worry about without watching Representatives and Senators make excuses why progress has not been made.

Tonight there will be a debate at the University of Michigan – Dearborn involving Proposal 1:

http://www.yesonproposal1.com/

I do love the endorsements by some major newspapers – Pathetic.  Suggesting that we assemble a bunch of politicians to aid in the funding of our schools and balancing a budget?  Really?  Isn’t that their normal jobs?  We are governed by a lawyer and she outright screwed teachers.  But hey, we all know teachers never learn.  They will vote to the left even after their benefits disappear, income lowered, and their collective rights are dimished just like they have been these last 8 years.  Good luck.

Let us see how many BS statements the Governor has made in this article :

1.  Planted the seeds for Michigan’s Economic recovery.  Well, she did introduce green energy training.  That should replace a few jobs, but I am thinking not the several hundred thousand lost that occured during her 8 year reign.

2.  She trimmed the government more than any other state.  Well, if by trimming you mean increasing the budget over 50% in the past 8 years, then yeah, its trimmed.

3.  “Lower taxes and lower wages are the not the answer alone”  Lower?  meaning increasing the income tax rate and introducing the MBT?  That type of lower?  Or trying to introduce a service tax……does that count as lower as well?

4.  “Granholm said the entire state should be outraged by test scores that show Detroit students among the academically worst performing in the U.S.”  It took you 8 years to figure that out?

5.  “What has happened in Michigan is a complete and utter transformation of our economy. We have to change, too.” This means what exactly, what has changed?  Detroit still makes cars, that isn’t going to change.  She praised the sudden rise of an automotive battery industry in Michigan, helped by generous state tax incentives and federal grants.  Well, I will give her this, although it is still helping Michigan’s automotive sector.  The problem is that it costs too much money to create new plants and too much money to create a new automotive company.  We are stuck with our Big 3, so we should help them.

All in all, she may have been the worst, most ineffective Governor in at least 50 years.  This Canadian Lawyer has done more damage than good.  I am shocked how the union, as well as most of the left can even support her. All we got is a crappy economy with a Governor making excuses.  My favorite being “It’s Bush’s fault!”

If there were ever a model for the liberal mentality, this would be it.  Who is responsible?  The School for offering useless degrees?  The Government for allowing financing of useless degrees?  The mom for allowing the daughter to pursue a useless degree while cosigning a loan to pay for it?  The daughter who not only chose the useless degree but is lucky enough to have a job paying $22 an hour and is able to pay for it, but wants to waste her money on other things.  By placing blame on others, she is basically saying “I need to be told what to do and I am unable to make good decisions on my own”.  She is clearly a model for those considering going to school strictly to get “any ‘ole” degree just to say they are a useless college graduate.  She deserves the $97,000 debt and the $700 per month payment.  If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it.  Perhaps a couple classes on Financial Planning costing $2000 could have helped in replacing the lack of common sense.  In fact, given the level of common sense that is ignored for current popular mentality, perhaps there should be required Financial Planning classes offered before people are allowed to be in debt in excess of their weekly salary.  If this class a person needs to be told what to do, so be it, we can do that.
